Hey Lovelies, welcome back to my weekly check-in, hope you all had a good week. Something exciting happened this week, I started my new job. I am still at the same nursery but I have a different role, my old contract was for maternity cover which sadly has ended however, I was offered another position within the company. I am now the chef, it’s not exactly what I wanted to do but it’s something, and I will still be in the rooms with the children in the mornings. It is more hours (I’ve been working more than the last few months anyway) so that’s why I have been slacking on the Wednesday posts and I’m sorry. I am struggling to keep on top of the housework, work, life, and everything else that’s going on I am hoping I can get back into the swing of things during the summer holidays to continue come September.

Anyways, Monday was another normal day really nothing much happened. I did have a driving lesson which went not the greatest, I not sure what was going on with me but I made silly mistakes that I don’t use to do. However, my driving instructor is amazing and really helped me through the lesson. After my lesson, it was then dinner time, bath, and bedtime.

Tuesday was a late working day as usual. I then had some work I needed to do which I brought home to do however, Daddy bear decided to fit our new shower pump so I helped him with that. Wednesday was again pretty boring and the same as usual with work, swimming, and then home to try and catch up on the end of the housework. I also tried to get some bits done for my friends Hen Do that was yesterday.

Thursday I started my new job role which was very strange not to be in the room all day with our little people but I enjoyed the new challenge, we then did food shopping before home to finishing doing what was needed on the circuit for the Hen Do. I also had to make sure we was ready for my parents to come up and visit us for Baby bears birthday.

Friday, was another good day at work doing the new job I have defiantly found my feet with it, and then we got to see my parents and P. Saturday we then booked to take Baby bear back to Diggerland at Springfields. We love it there, this was our 3rd time going and we still aren’t bored. We then came home for me to get ready for my night out for the Hen do. It has been a long time coming as their wedding day has been changed 3 times due to covid but the countdown is officially on and we are finally able to celebrate. We had such a good night and the Bride loved it which is all that matters.

And we are back to today Sunday, we sadly had to say goodbye to my parents and P this morning which always sucks but it won’t be long before we are seeing them again. We then spent some time together playing some games as a family before Daddy bear went to trim the hedges and I changed all the beds, caught up on washing, and cooked us an amazing beef roast dinner if I do say so myself. The kitchen is now a mess again thought which is just great… Am I the only one who feels like they are constantly cleaning their kitchen? And now with my new job, it’s even more.

I hope you all had a good week, the countdown is now on for the summer holidays. Only a few more weeks left, we can do it. I would love to hear your ideas of teachers’ presents as I’ma little stumped on what to add to ours.
